Our company has been implementing a number of projects in the coal mining and coal processing industries in the Russian Federation since 1998. The availability of our own port capacity and the usage of the services of large cargo shipping companies enables our company to maximize its financial effectiveness.

Being a coal conglomerate, we are oriented towards the safe and steady development of the coal industry on the basis of modern technology that meets environmental standards and also on the modernization of processing technologies in order to improve coal quality and the monitoring of the extraction process.

Key characteristics of TALTEK

• The total capacity of the coal mining companies of the holding is 3 million tons of coal per year.
• Within the framework of the approved strategic development plan of the Group of Companies, by 2010, planned capacity will be 6 million tons of coal per year.
• We have our own port capacity. In April of 2007, TALTEK acquired the assets of ООО Kandalashskiy sea trade port .
• TALTEK exports 80% of the coal to more than 10 countries, including Bulgaria, Finland, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Turkey.
• The coal is shipped from Baltic and Black sea ports and also through European border crossings.
